2021 ist Frank Ertl als Spitzenkandidat der Brombachtaler Grünen in die Gemeindevertretung eingezogen. In schwierigen Zeiten hat er sich in den vergangenen fünf Jahren für das Wohl Brombachtals eingesetzt, denn es war ihm wichtig, der Gemeinde, die ihn, wie er sagte, mit offenen Armen aufgenommen hat, etwas zurückzugeben.
Und das ist ihm auch gelungen. Mit seiner ruhigen und verbindlichen Art war er eine Bereicherung bei jedem Austausch. Mit seiner Leidenschaft fürs Radfahren hat er sich für alternative Mobilität eingesetzt, und als IT-Fachmann ist es allein seiner Initiative zu verdanken, dass sich mit Crossiety nun eine Dorf-App etabliert hat, in der sich über 900 Nutzer täglich austauschen.
Am 1. Mai ist Frank nach langer Krankheit gestorben. Unser gemeinsamer Weg endet nun, und er war viel zu kurz.
