Die Bromischer Dorf-App ist im Gemeindeleben Brombachtals mittlerweile zur vielleicht wichtigsten Austauschplattform geworden. Fast 900 Nutzer tummeln sich mittlerweile auf dem digitalen Dorfplatz, bieten Möbel, Kleidung oder Spielzeug zum Verkauf an, informieren über anstehende Events, suchen Hilfe oder bieten sie an und organisieren sich in unzähligen Gruppen, seien es Vereine, ortsansässige Firmen oder ganz einfach Interessensgruppen, wie zum Beispiel die Gruppe „Tante Enso Supermarkt“.
Anstoß zur Dorf-App gaben zwei Anträge von Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, die unser Gemeindevertreter Frank Ertl im Juni 2023 in die Gemeindevertretung eingebracht hat: Zum einen zur Einrichtung einer parlamentarischen Arbeitsgruppe (PAG) für die Erarbeitung der Anforderungen an eine solche App sowie der Evaluierung möglicher Anbieter, und zur Einführung der Dorf-App an sich. Trotz der ein oder anderen Zweifel („Whatsapp funktioniert doch auch ganz gut“) wurden beide Anträge mehrheitlich angenommen.

Frank war federführend in der PAG aktiv, unter seiner Leitung fiel die Entscheidung letztlich auf das Schweizer Unternehmen Crossiety, und die Bromischer Dorf-App ging noch 2023 an den Start. Heute ist Crossiety für viele Bromischer nicht mehr wegzudenken. Und dies gilt nicht nur für die Bürger*innen: Häufigster Nutzer für Bekanntmachungen aller Art dürfte wohl die Gemeindeverwaltung bzw. Bürgermeister Andreas Koch sein. So ist die Dorf-App eine ideale Ergänzung zum Brombachtaler Amtsblatt geworden. Wir freuen uns sehr über diese erfolgreiche Errungenschaft, die es ohne Franks Engagement als Gemeindevertreter der Grünen nicht geben würde!
